James Corden: "It's been a little overwhelming"

James Corden told the Today programme that he was prepared for a "terrible onslaught of criticism" for his first week hosting the Late Late Show in America and never thought it would be "met with such praise".

"To go out and be so exposed is daunting but it has been a wonderful start," he added.
