Utah firing squads are 'humane option'

The US state of Utah is reinstating death by firing squad because it can't get enough of the ingredients needed to execute people by lethal injection.

Paul Ray, a member of the Utah House of Representatives who sponsored the bill to legalise the firing squad, said it was a "humane option" - adding that it would be his preferred means of execution.
