Ranting parrot owner: Usually my bird is ‘very happy’ and ‘very cuddly'

Elaine Sigmon, from North Carolina, says her cockatoo, Peaches, repeats the blazing rows of her now-divorced ex-owners.

Peaches new owner told 5 live: "We were just sat in one afternoon watching television, all of a sudden she started ranting and raving as if she was just blessing someone out."

"If I was to go up to her and start loving on her, she would just calm down and love on us, but when she does it we sit back and just enjoy."
