Malcolm X

This week the BBC joined forces with Ujima and BCFM – for a special programme live from the Malcolm X centre in St Pauls - on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Black rights campaigner. Kevin will bring you the highlights. We’ll also be looking into why residents of St Pauls are upset that Ujima is moving to the city centre. We’ll hear about “Empowered” which is an awards event designed to celebrate talented young people from the West’s inner-city communities and there will be more in our build up the upcoming Black Women’s Conference in Bristol.
