Growing Numbers Claiming Benefits Are In Work

According to a new report on the nature and extent of poverty in Northampton, a growing number of people who are receiving housing benefit are in work. In Northampton, 16,000 people claim the benefit; and more than 4000 of those are in work. That's an increase of 16% over the past two years, according to figures from Northampton Borough Council.
