End of Life Care

Dr Chetna Kang and Sophie Sulehria focus on end of life care.

Generally people don't like talking about death, but of course, it is inevitable.

So how can we make sure we have - as far as we can - the sort of death we want?

This week I'll be speaking to a woman from Hertfordshire in the last months of her life, to find out how she's preparing to die.

Plus we'll hear from the Simon Hughes MP the minister responsible for the Public Guardian, whose job it is to protect people who may not have the capacity to make decisions for themselves.

And we'll find out about a scheme in Bedfordshire which helps people die in the way they want to.
