Four Jazz Pianists of Note
Stan Tracey and Bobby Wellins play for Norma Winstone. The Stan Tracey Quartet features Tubby Hayes while the Echoes of Ellington add a singer. Ron Carter and Jim Hall as a duo.
Music comes from Scott Hamilton, Norma Winstone and Stan Tracey. Hanna Richardson sings with Phil Flanigan and there's a classic from George Lewis and Monette Moore. Alan Barnes and Ken Peplowski joined together with the Woodville All Stars for a Happy Reunion. We talk to Jim Simpson about his memories of Mike Burney, very much a Midlands jazz saxophonist who died last week.
