Council Pothole Compensation Payments Increase

The amount of money paid out by Northamptonshire County Council in pot-hole compensation has gone up five-fold in the past three years. In 2012, £6,000 was paid by the authority to drivers of damaged cars. This year's figure, so far, is more than £30,000.
