A Fatal Fire In Northampton

A person's died after a fire at a flat in the St Crispin Retirement Village in Northampton. The Northamptonshire Fire & Recue Service says two fire appliances that would normally have been available were not able to turn out because of the ongoing strike by fire-fighters. They are in dispute with the Government over their pensions.
