Labour's RAF veteran Harry Leslie Smith 'I never had a childhood'
Harry Leslie Smith made a speech about the NHS at this year's Labour Party conference that had delegates in tears.
On 5 live with Sarah Brett and Dan Walker the 91-year-old former RAF veteran answered questions from Birmingham sixth form students about his childhood and why he votes Labour.
When asked how his youth compared to today's he responded: "I didn't have a childhood, I started work at seven and a half years old".
