Rooney Rule is about getting coaches on the radar

Kick It Out's Paul Mortimer says the Rooney Rule could give black and ethnic minority coaches a greater chance of getting work as it would get them "on the radar" of club chairman and give them the chance to put forward their ideas in interviews.

Mortimer gave up on a career in coaching after becoming frustrated at a lack of opportunities.
