Reaction as The Art Fund saves the Wedgwood Collection from auction

Reaction to the news the historic Wedgwood Collection has been saved. The Art Fund has now raised all the remaining £2.7m it needed in just one month thanks to public donations. The total of £15.75m raised means that all the collection's 80,000 pieces of pottery, documents, letters and designs are "saved for the nation" after a huge pension bill for the collapsed Waterford Wedgwood group meant they could have been auctioned off to individual collectors.
