A Year On From Skint

Things have got better on a Scunthorpe estate following Channel 4's "Skint" programme.

Twelve months ago Westcliff Estate was famous for its appearance on Channel Four's 'skint' programme, which focussed on people who were unemployed.

The authorities say the number of people claiming Job Seekers Allowance dropped by 1.9% over the last year - and later today a new updated council report on the area will go to cabinet.

Residents also say that things in the area have got better.
