
Nene CCG On Course To Clear Its Debts But GPs Say It's Denying Them Funding
Nene Clinical Commissioning Group has cleared £15-million of its debt. It says it will clear it's deficit within 18 months, but GP practices say money isn't reaching them.
£15-million of debt has been wiped from the books of the organisation that oversees GP services in Northamptonshire in it's first year of existence. The Nene Clinical Commissioning Group covers most of the county and holds it AGM tonight. It's told BBC Radio Northampton it will clear its deficit within 18 months, but local GP practices say funding that should be paid to them by the CCG isn't getting through.
