Louis Smith praises Dan Keatings, who beat him to gold
Gymnasts, Daniel Keatings of Scotland, who topped the podium in the men’s pommel horse final, and England's Louis Smith, who picked up the bronze medal, spoke to Elly Oldroyd.
“Dan’s done fantastically well, it’s nice to see him back up there being more consistent, said Louis, who is good friends with Dan.
“He knew what he needed to do and he performed, and I think it was a brilliant pummel horse final, it really was.”
“It was the biggest score I’ve scored on an international stage, I think I’ve been training hard at that routine. I’m glad I’ve finally pulled it together”, said Daniel, who didn't make Team Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics.
