Ruby Wax on the 'addiction' of celebrity

Writer, performer and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax has told HARDtalk about the "addictive" side of show business.

"Everyone goes for show business because your narcissism is fed and you get a lot of money," she said.

Asked why she decided to change careers and study neuroscience, she explained she "wanted to leave the party, before the party left me."

"There is nothing more tragic than someone in show business who is so addicted that they cling on to dear life," she added.
