George Boole was born in Lincoln on 2nd November 1815. His invention of Boolean logic is the basis for the way computers operate today. The Lincoln Boole Foundation is planning a series of events to celebrate his life, to coincide with the 200th anniversary of his birth in 2015, and the 150th anniversary of his death in 2014.
