Is there too much violence on the small screen?
Channel 4 has had its knuckles rapped for showing what the broadcasting regulator, Ofcom, has described as a "violent and shocking scene" before the nine pm watershed.
The scene, in Hollyoaks, showed two characters fighting on a railway line and ends with one of them being pushed in front of a train.
The watchdog has now commissioned research into whether there is too much violence on our screens.
To discuss this Bill and Susanna were joined by Lisa Holdsworth, a scriptwriter, and Chris Stacey, a TV critic.
