Nearly everyone in Derry had a piece of U-Boat memorabilia

In the final chapter of Derry's wartime story, The U-boats surrender & are moored along the River Foyle. Dermot Kelly and his uncle got onto one of the moored submarines and took a piece of wartime memorabilia with them as they left.
