West End Girl. Choreographer, Gillian Lynne on a lifetime of dancing on the stage

Gillian Lynne is behind many of the West End's most popular productions.

This weekend she will receive an award for her outstanding contribution to theatre.

She told Breakfast of her "absolute shock" at being told she was to receive the honour.

The Olivier awards will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 on Sunday evening at 6.00pm

Cats is currently on tour with performances at Bradford Alhambra Theatre until 4 May, Hull New Theatre, 6 – 18 May, Sunderland Empire, 28 May – 8 June plus many other venues across the UK.
