Separating solids and liquids
A look at a range of day-to-day examples of separating liquids and solids. This is something that we regularly do with the help of a sieve or filter. Examples include fish being caught in a net, spaghetti being drained in a colander, chips being lifted out of fat using a basket, a dishwasher filter, and a coffee filter.
