Playground safety inspections

This film looks at how playgrounds are inspected and tested for safety. Using a range of special tools, the safety inspector tests the playground equipment to ensure that children cannot become stuck or trapped and that poles and ropes are the correct size for a child’s grip. He also tests the material on the ground to make sure that it would cause the least amount of damage if a child fell onto it from a height.
