Happy 45th birthday BBC Radio Leicester!

BBC Radio Leicester has been broadcasting to Leicestershire and Rutland since 8th November 1967, the first BBC Local Radio station in the country.

And we're proud to say that one programme is still going, 45 years since the launch. It's the gardeners' favourite 'Down To Earth'.
