New material from New Order in 2013?

New Order were the headline act on the main stage at Festival No.6 on Sunday 16 September.

The bandmates have been busy playing festivals all over the world this summer with UK dates at Bestival and the Olympics Closing Ceremony gig in Hyde Park.

It has been over a year since the band announced that they would be playing live again without bassist Peter Hook but with Gillian Gilbert back in the fold for the first time in 11 years.

6 Music's Elizabeth Alker spoke to Bernard Sumner and he told her why he signed up for Festival No. 6 and that there might be some new material in the pipeline.
