There is a power cut and, without TV, the family are forced to play board games instead. When Percy discovers a Ouija Board, the Thomases unwittingly summon the evil spirit of John Merrick - the Elephant Man, who's bent on revenge.A storm cloud forms over the funeral parlour as a host of evil spirits decend on South Wales. Next morning, Ivor & Percy awake to discover that a poltergoost (a kind of naughty spook) has invaded the parlour.On top of this, Gwynne has been sucked into the TV set and the Chapel of Rest has become a Portal Vortex to Hell. But worst of all, Arwell has become possessed by the Elephant Man. A local maverick priest, Father Plimsolls, arrives with his pet owl, to clean the house of spirits.
