A public meeting is to be held to discuss plans for a rail freight terminal in Castle Donington that may create 6000 jobs. Plans have been revealed for an £8 million bypass around Ripley. The Derby Cathedral Peregrines Project has been given £50,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
