Seventy percent of the Worlds surface is Ocean and 80% of all life on Earth can be found under its surface.

There are over 200 million people reliant on the fishing industry for income and over one billion dependent on fish and shellfish as their major source of protein, yet just 1% of the world's oceans are under any form of protection.
