"Young man desires travel round world..."

Alan Speer, from Letterkenny in Co.Dongal always had a hankering to see the world. On 10th September 1961, he saw and advert in the Sunday Times that read "Young man desires travel round world: suggestions/advice/ offers". Alan had no idea that when he replied to the advert that it was from a guy from Lisburn, Peter Newman.
