Bombardier hopes to secure a new government contract

Derby based train maker Bombardier is hoping to be awarded a new contract by the government. The work would involve converting up to 35 diesel trains to allow them to run on overhead power cables. Details remain unconfirmed and it is possible that the work could be carried out in Belgium.
