Despite retiring as a journalist for a national newspaper at the age of sixty two, David hasn't had the time to put the notion of retirement into practice. He's been busy freelancing and intends to keep his mind fizzing as long as he can. David's life has been tracked since his birth in 1946, along with thousands of others, as part of the world's longest survey on human development run by Medical Research Council.
