Fines for leaving your bin out in Bedfordshire

If you live in Bedfordshire you could be fined up to £1,000 by the courts if you leave your wheelie bins out on the pavement.

Although the council says you would get warnings and a smaller penalty before that would happen.

In Luton, you could be fined £1,000 if you do the same thing. Councils in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire say they have the option to penalise people, but admit it's unlikely they'd take action.
