Experts at Lancaster University hope a £130,000 grant will eventually help more people spend their final days in their own home. Figures suggest two thirds of us want to die at home... but in reality fewer than 20% do so. The team from Lancaster University will use the money from Marie Curie Cancer Care to carry out a two year study - looking at the pressures facing carers.
