The Olympic Torch comes to Reading

The route for the 2012 Olympic Torch has been announced and it's coming to Berkshire.

The venues haven't been officially confirmed yet, but Sir John Madejski has told BBC Radio Berkshire that the Madejski Stadium will be hosting the torch during its stay in Reading.

Reading East MP Rob Wilson also works for the Culture, Media and Sport department.

He told BBC Radio Berkshire's Henry Kelly that he began the campaign to get the torch to Reading back in 2006.
