Potholes in rural Herefordshire
After two freezing winters in a row, BBC Inside Out Midlands follows councils who are now struggling to keep all their roads in a decent state of repair.
In rural Herefordshire country lanes make up much of the road network which means the council faces a different set of problems compared with urban authorities.
Herefordshire has a large volume of agricultural traffic which can cause significant damage to the edge of the roads.
