Francis Gorman: South Down District Journalist

Francis says he is fortunate enough to be able to say that he loves his job. He films all his stories on a small camera and edits the pictures himself on a desktop computer.

What he likes most about the job is the variety. In the last five years, for example, he has filmed a wedding at the top of Slieve Donard and crawled with his camera through an underground medieval tunnel outside Downpatrick.
