Each day the editor of the Northern Echo Peter Barron challenges BBC Tees to come up with a better headline for one of their stories.

So it's Friday and The Northern Echo go with a story about the BBC who have apologised for showing footage of a Nazi rally instead of the weather forecast on its South West region website.

The Northern Echo's headline "Don't Mention the Thaw".

BBC Tees went with "Heil Storm".

Independent adjudicator Kerry went with The Echo as today's winner.

The score at the end of the week stands at 5-4 to The Northern echo.
