Teessider John with a brand new entertaining morning show.
Each day the editor of the Northern Echo Peter Barron challenges BBC Tees to come up with a better headline for one of their stories
Friday's headline challenge and The Northern Echo go with a story about a new craze that's sweeping China for newly-weds to have their wedding pictures taken naked ...
The Northern Echo's headline "Something Cold, Something Blue".
BBC Tees went with "Wedding Flashers".
There was a twist on the scoring today. Peter Barron contested an earlier win in the week which meant that the Echo leap-frogged into the lead .... So, BBC Tees needed a 2 pointer (film or TV title) today to get the draw. Otherwise we would have preferred to go with the superb headline "Nudey-weds".
It didn't really matter, as independent adjudicator Kerry chose the Echo's headline as the winner.
That means the score for the end of the week was 6-3 to The Northern Echo.
