The Ulster-Scots eXperience
We hear a bit of ‘Jiggin’ Burns’ by the Ulster-Scots Experience, a band put together by John Trotter.
John talks about his plans for an orchestral presentation with music and readings to raise the bar for Ulster-Scots: and we hear the lovely Scots airs, ‘Oh gin I were a Baron’s heir’, ‘The Barnyards of Delgaty’ and ‘Cutting Bracken’.
The band will soon be launching a new CD in Ballymoney Town Hall. (Broadcast: 3 Mar 2007)
