Maurice Leyden and the Weaver Poets
The work of the weaver poets is to the fore as part of the Belfast Open House Festival as Belfast singer and song-gatherer, Maurice Leyden, has put together a new show called ‘The Half Cut’.
He tells Liam Logan how a keyboardist, pipe and whistle player and poetry reader will all be accompanying him in the show and he plays the song ‘The Neb in tha Stanes’. (Broadcast: 24 Sep 2006)
