White Waltham, Spitfires and the female pilots

Maidenhead Heritage Centre has just been granted £50,000 to set up a permanent exhibition and study centre commemorating the Air Transport Auxiliary. It was the job of the female pilots there to ferry planes around the country during the Second World War.
