Harpenden GP suspended for four months

BBC Three Counties Radio has exclusively revealed a Hertfordshire doctor has been suspended from practising for four months after dishonestly taking payments from a patient.

The case was highlighted by a Harpenden woman who brought it to the Jonathan Vernon-Smith Consumer Clinic. Her husband was being charged for home visits even though he's an NHS patient.
