Bee Part Of It!

The BBC is teaming up with the National Trust to create local bee-friendly spaces for a new project called Bee Part of It!

BBC Cumbria will have its own hive at Sizergh Castle near Kendal over the summer and you can follow its progress.

Bees are the world's most important pollinating insects and are worth about £200m a year to British agriculture.

Liz Rhodes hears from Belinda Artingstoll who will be reporting on the project for BBC Radio Cumbria and Kate Humble who is presenting the coverage on BBC TV.
