John Hayes - 12/05/2010

With music and news.

Children and teachers at an Essex primary school have launched the first ever county-wide clean up event, in a bid to make people more aware of the area around them.

John speaks to the Deputy head at Runwell Primary is Chris Blandford to find out more.

Have you visited Clacton recently? Take a closer look next time you're there because hundreds of Hindu's have been flocking to a tiny spare room in the seaside town for a big date in the Hindu calendar.

John Hayes brings you a highlight from last weekend on BBC Essex when Sunday evening presenter Bridget Metcalfe caught up with 60s icon Dave Berry - and John used to work with him!

There's also bundles of fantastic music, the latest weather, travel and business news too!
