BBC Introducing... In Remission

Hey, we’re [inrem.] otherwise known as In Remission, thanks for checking us out!

We are a 5 piece melodic, hardcore rock band from Clophill, Bedfordshire. We’ve been knocking around now for just over a year, in which time we’ve done so much, including winning the Dunstable Battle of the Bands 2009 which was judged by BBC Introducing’s very own Gareth Lloyd!

Back in November we released our self titled EP [inrem.] worldwide on itunes, Amazon and various other top online retailers and we’re now ready to take things further. This year we have plans of recording an album and touring it round the UK with a few more ideas up our sleeves coming your way!

Who’s who in [inrem.]?
There’s DANIEL LILLIE on Vocals, and part time synth, (lazy), who when not performing with the band likes to think of himself as a ‘professional actor’, whatever that is, then there’s TOM NORMAN, Lead Guitarist, who is the poster boy for malnutrition. RODNEY SMITH is on Rhythm Guitar, who’s hair is on a one man mission to make the band more ‘scene’, and ADAM BOLTON, Bass, who ensures the band has at least some sexy gender confusion with a self assigned middle name of ‘Jessica Rabbit’. Finally there’s TOM EDWARDS, the Drummer, and as with most drummers, it’s best we don’t talk about him too much. Or feed him after midnight.

What is the best thing about [inrem.]? What are you good at?
It’s all about the super energy in the live shows. We’ve always understood that when someone pays good money to come and see you live, they don’t just want to hear your stuff, they want to SEE your stuff. So after every show, if we aren’t drenched in sweat, with sore necks and legs, we haven’t done our jobs right.
