Green growth
A combination of timelapse photography and elapsed time shots show the progression of spring in a woodland. The sticky buds of the horse chestnut tree burst open with new life. The trees then become heavy with foliage and in early summer they will produce their candelabra-like clusters of flowers. Beech trees that stood as bare skeletons through winter now bring a fresh green flush to woodland. Their leaves - and those of the oak - are often the last to emerge.
