The fifth episode of Outliers addresses issues of identity and how people at the edges of society define themselves in Mexico City, London and Mumbai.
The fifth episode of Outliers addresses issues of identity and how people at the edges of society define themselves. Starting in Mexico City, we meet Lord Fer, a goth and a club DJ who runs a cage fighting school, focused on teaching men and women with alternative lifestyles the skills to defend themselves in a society that is often hostile towards them. In London, England we meet women reclaiming witchcraft as a feminist ideal, in an inclusive, empowering way who are creating new identities for themselves; in business, in the home, and in society. And in Mumbai, in India the world's oldest transgender community describes how its sense of identity and unity have helped it overcome prejudice in a powerful story of defiance and hope.
