Afghanistan is facing a renewed crisis after peace talks between the US and the Taliban, designed to bring an end to the 18 year war, dramatically broke down at the beginning of the month. During the final weeks of negotiations the BBC attempted to recorded every conflict related death in the country. The data, recorded throughout the whole of August, suggests the war in Afghanistan is deadlier than previously thought and is affecting almost every part of the country. In this Reporters Special, Lyse Doucet, Secunder Kermani and Auliya Atrafi bring together the BBC's findings.
