BBC Africa Eye examines dramatic footage filmed by protesters during the recent uprising in Khartoum in Sudan, showing masked security agents chasing down protesters, beating them, and dragging them away to secret detention centres. Who are these hit squads? Where are these detention centres? And what happens inside their walls?

BBC Africa Eye has analysed dozens of dramatic videos and spoken with witnesses who have survived torture. The film is followed by a studio discussion led by Tomi Oladipo, with three guest panellists; Arief Elsaui, - Sudanese journalist; Faisal Elbagir - Sudanese human rights activist and journalist and Dr. Hussein Karshoum - member of Sudan's governing National Congress Party.
