Join nature fanatic Mike Dilger and BBC World News broadcaster Rico Hizon as they go in search of rich culture and rare wildlife in one of the greatest biodiversity hotspots in the world - the Philippines. On the beautiful island of Palawan, Mike discovers creatures living deep underground at the Puerto Princesa subterranean river; he meets a member of the ancient Batak tribe who shows him a precious tree resin; witnesses a magical firefly display in the mangroves, and helps a local conservation team who are trying to save the critically endangered Philippine cockatoo.
