On the beautiful island of Palawan, Mike discovers creatures living deep underground at the Puerto Princesa subterranean river; he meets a member of the ancient Batak tribe who shows him a precious tree resin; witnesses a magical firefly display in the mangroves, and helps a local conservation team who are trying to save the critically endangered Philippine cockatoo. Exploring Filipino culture, Rico takes Mike to meet some inspiring home-grown businesses and explains the Philippines's rich history through its intriguing language.
