As part of Talking Movies twentieth anniversary celebrations acclaimed British actor-director Kenneth Branagh discusses the changes that have taken place in the film industry in the two decades the programme has been on the air. In the interview Branagh, who has built up a formidable reputation in cinema, discusses the changing status of movie stars and the Oscars, the impact of the #MeToo movement and the rise of streaming services. Given that he has starred in some 37 films and directed some 18 features, including some classic adaptations of Shakespeare, as well as commercial blockbusters like Thor, he brings a wealth of experience to the conversation.
